IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts Officer Scale I, II & III exam for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).

Nationality Indian
Age limit For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)--The minimum age is 18 years and maximum 28 years.
For Officer Scale- I--The minimum age is 18 years and maximum 30 years.
For Officer Scale- II--The minimum age is 21 years and maximum 32 years.
For Officer Scale- III--The minimum age is 21 years and maximum 40 years.
Language Proficiency The Candidates should have Knowledge of local language of state he is applying.

Educational Qualification:


Exam Name Qualification
For Officer Class 1 degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized institution and knowledge of the local language and computer skills or knowledge will be an additional qualification. Candidates graduated from Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Livestock, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fish Breeding, Agriculture and Technology Cooperation, Information Technologies, Management, Law, Business and Marketing departments are preferred..
For Officer Class 2 (General Banking Officer) degree in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent university with an overall grade of at least 50%. Candidates with degrees in banking, finance, economics, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, agricultural engineering, fish farming, agribusiness and cooperation, information technology, management, law, business and economics are preferred.

For Officer Scale II (Specialist Office)


Exam Name Qualification Experience
Information Technology (IT) Officer Electronics / Communications / Computer Science / Information Technology degree or equivalent with a minimum 50% cumulative grade from a recognized institution.
And
Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
One year
Chartered Accountant Certified Public Accountant (CA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. One year
Law Officer A recognized university law degree or equivalent with an overall score of at least 50%. Two years as a lawyer or at least two years as a clerk in a bank or financial institution.
Treasury Manager Certified Member (CA) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA degree in Finance from recognized University/Institutions. One year
Marketing Officer MBA in Marketing from a recognized university. One year
Agricultural Officer Degree in any one of Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy,  Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science,  Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Two year

For Officer Scale III

For Officer Scale III A degree in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent university with an overall grade of at least 50%. Candidates who have graduated/certified from the departments of Banking, Finance, Commerce, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Livestock, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fish Breeding, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives, Informatics, Business Administration, Law, Economics and Accounting will be preferred. At least 5 years of experience as a senior manager in a bank or financial institution.
