Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army NCC (Special Entry)


Indian Army conducts exam for NCC Special Entry Scheme.

Nationality Indian
Educational Qualification The Candidates must be completed their Degree from any recognized University with 50% marks.
Important -  Candidates must have minimum 'B' grade in 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.
Age limit The minimum age is 19 year and maximum age is 25 year.

Physical Standard-


1. Height & Weight-

The minimum height of male candidates is 157.5cm with corelated weight and 152 cms height & 42 Kg weight for women candidates.Height is relaxed by 5 cm for North East and hilly areas ( Gorkhas , Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis ) and for Lakshadweep candidates height can be reduced by 2 cm.


2. Eye Standard-

Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/18 of 2 eyes without correction.


3. Physical Ground-

a. 2.4 Km Running in 15 minutes


b. Push ups – 13 No.


c. Sit ups – 25 No.


d. Rope Climbing – 3 to 4 metre
